Good point, I will double check before trying. I want to give the car a run out first just to make sure all is well, then I can mess it up again.

When I did my belt I used long 15mm ring spanner to move the tensioner and the small hole is to lock with a pin to hold in place whilst fitting

i think the bolt John is referring to it for the manual tentioner

Yes Kenny it is the manual one at the bottom of the belt system.
Then again your photo shows the oily thumbprints of experience in this area :-D
