Xantia, removal of passenger airbag

Unfortunately I have to remove the facia of my Xantia 2.0, 16v, 1997, 124000km to make a highly needed repair to some damaged cables. Having almost removed the facia today, boy what a job [:(]!!, I can't seem to figure out how to remove the passenger side airbag. Haynes is not really any use, and the nuts and bolts, which seems to keep it in place are impossible to reach (from the glove box slot) unless you are a 40kg acrobat with rubber arms.
If you have experience removing the passenger airbag, I would be very happy for any tips or help with the procedure.. [:)] before I give it my best shot tomorrow [B)]

Left the passenger air bag on the facia without problems. No need to remove it as long as it is disconnected.
