it looks fine to me hun,
i usually judge it by the line of the sill to the ground, spoz that dosent work if the hole car is to high/low

i think it may be the XM's body lines causing and optical illusion :bouncy: :eye:

I see what you mean. Silly question (but sometimes a silly question nails down the problem), but are the tyres the right size for the XM?

As far as I know they are James.. 295/60 R15. Same as a Xantia V6 on alloys...

The view from Club-XM is that she's riding just a tad high at the front. I'm told the chrome trim should be level with the top of the wheel...

I need a ramp now to adjust it...

Its perhaps look a little on the high side, in that picture anyway but by a fraction of an inch if so. I'd also same the rear is high by the same amount?

Im surprised the V6 doesn't use 205.65.15 tyres, I think the 2.5TDs do.

Chris, that's a very good point :!: I've always had a feeling they look too small....

I will check!

The 605 used 205/65/15 as well - with a fairly stout load/speed rating (that makes them hard to find here, as most tyres of that size are not correctly rated).

Chris :) It does have the wrong size tyres. 205/60 rather than 205/65   :x

I'm going to swap them for the right ones but keep the wrong ones as they are Xantia size... I'm bloody annoyed though...

Make sure it's 94V in the replacements. I'd personally suggest Falken 912s if it's a dry weather car.

I have had Fallen 912s on my Xantia, and they were OK. I also have them (205x65/15) on my e type, as there is not much choice in that size v-rated. last year I needed 1 replacement after a puncture, and the 65s were out of stock in the UK, with no date for new stock.
