Any ideas of things to check?
Was fine from cold lots of power in the 2.0i 16v 51 plate , then just lost all power and limited to 2000 revs and no idea why. Is the only way to go garage and get a lexia hooked up? any way to reset and see if it comes back?

I cannot help on this post, but in order for anybody else to be able to help they will need to know what the car is. I assume it is (based on info provided so far) that it is a petrol driven, 2.0l 16 valve car from late 2001, but nothing else.
