Well if your in the Business of doing several cars a week , month or year then it is a bargain..I am sure i would buy it if i were doing the same :)

I have one of those sets linked to by CGAT, and probably am also a special tool.

Before that, I used a large screwdriver with both hands, across the slots, whilst holding the caliper with my prehensile tail.

nah, as you get older you learn to stop foo king around with your time, saving the frustrating, slips cuts grazes, relationships, cursing and other car parts :)

Until you get and use one, you might not be convinced, Another example, I fitted new injector seals to my 1.6 HDI Picasso, Lighty said to me 'get the washer extrator and seat cutter' found them on amazon for 90 quid I think, the main steelers wanted 120 quid to ATTEMPT the job, plus other charges if it went wrong. I couldn't believe how well the job went, it took seconds to get the stuck washer out, instead of prating with bent wire etc, a quick clean of the seat with the cutter and it all went back together as it should; jobs a good 'n
