The Xantia looks like well kept car but steep on the mileage. However, we know this is not a problem with the HDI.

XM also looks very tidy, I do like that.

HDI Xantia will be more economical and cheaper to buy and perhaps maintain. Depends what you want, as the XM and Xantia are very different cars.

If the XM had been a 2.1 I would have said go for that but the 2.5 is less reliable and and parts are expensive and difficult to get, there are very few 2.1s about now. The Xantia looks nice and as mentioned the Hdi engine is good for high mileages but its not such a nice car as the XM.

Curious that picture of the Xantia's engine bay shows a 90BHP engine but the advert says 110BHP........... :o

There's another Xantia on the bay currently (Item 110998252211) which seems to have the same advertising problem... :?
