Ecu is locked need lexia owner in Bedfordshire?

After buying two different bits of kit to flash my C5 2.2 hdi with a remap file it would appear that the ecu is locked out any communication with such devices maybe because of how many time it's been plugged in during its life.
Am I right in thinking it could be unlocked with a Lexia or am I barking up the wrong tree?

If it can be done is there anyone willing to meet up and reset my ecu for me?
I live in Toddington Bedfordshire and would be very Grateful for any help on this.

Silly question, but have you disconnected the battery for at least half an hour to reset the ECU ?

Will the engine still start and run ok ?

Hi cheers for reply, I did disconnect the battery for about 45 mins yesterday and today after some new software for my flasher was emailed to me I did manage to read and write my ecu. It still won't talk to my obd code reader though.

Has it ever talked to your OBD code reader though ? Depending on what year and engine it is a standard OBD reader may not be compatible.

Hi badpanel, I'm near you, could connect the Lexia up if you want. I've not come across this before though so any advice from out there will be gratefully recieved!
