Hi there, I'm new to this forum, and I've owned nothing but Citroen diesels for the last 12 years: 2 zx TD's (what a great car), a Xantia TD (that one was a mistake), a Xsara HDI (beautiful engine but a bit too heavy for the chassis) and now, a Xsara TD, which is absolutely the best of all worlds in my view!
Okay, here's the question: the 1998 Xsara TD has a very slight power steering leak from a hose joint buried deep in the guts of the car (as in few cc's only per thousand miles). The pump is fine. To rectify I'm first going to try a leak-stopping fluid. I need to get the mixture right (5% of Power Steering fluid volume). Only trouble is, I can't find out the total volume of PS fluid in the system when full. Any ideas? (And is this a bad idea?)

Re: Xsara TD power steering fluid capacity
hi and welcome
power steering fluid should be 1lt of ATX,
why was the XANT a mistake if all well they are by far a better car to drive than a Xsara IMO, GREEN BLOOD RULES OK
