probably because they have been relaxed, the fold in mirrors are about £180 each, where as you cam buy a pattern non fold one for about £30 to£40

Have you worked out what trim level your Picasso is yet? IIRC fold in mirrors only came on Exclusive models, it certainly wasn't fitted to our SX model.

I've bought this back up because yesterday , whilst travelling, my wife tried to adjust mirrors and turned switch to bottom. The nearside mirror folded in, then after she moved switch to adjust the mirrors, back out, nearside only, we then lost the fold-back. Any ideas. I'm thinking connections.

Had this on ours, 2004 1.6 HDI exclusive.

cause for them was the cigarette lighter off the same fuse, pluging in a crap phone charger shorted it out.

Also the rotary switch on another occasion ( when trying to alter the positon of the mirrors) would just both at the same time in opposite directions, despite toggling between the left and right side.

I stripped the switch to find the tracks on the board had spread and were touching each other, these were cleaned up so they were single and all works well again.. Saved buy another switch.
