Hi all,
Recently, my 2007 C5 started to produce a “Thang” sound when I reverse all the way to one side (left to right).
Is this a brake problem? Since I just change the front brake pad and the problem emerge shortly after that.
A friend who owned a C4, told me this is a common “design” problem in Citroen, true?
Kindly advise me and Thank you very much.
Regards,
Thung sound when reverse

Re: Thung sound when reverse
think this is linked to the brake problem you have poated. Sound like a caliper loose or siezed caliper or slide mounts. recheck the work youve done
Re: Thung sound when reverse
Can the calipers be repaired or serviced to resolve the jamming problem?coastline taxis wrote:think this is linked to the brake problem you have poated. Sound like a caliper loose or siezed caliper or slide mounts. recheck the work youve done

Hi all,
Just an update here. The problem has been rectified.
I have changed the suspension arm bushings and the problem vanished.
