This morning my car developed a fault with the climate control. The driver side works as expected from 'LO' to 'HI', but the passenger side just seems to be stuck on outdoor air temp. Just no heat or aircon no matter what temperature i select.
If i put drivers side on 'LO' the passenger side feels warmer in comparison, if i put the drivers side on 'HI' the passenger side feels like freezing.
I have tried de-activating the dual zone climate control in the cars menu, the air con cut off, cycling through the temperatures and flicking through all the vent positions, but nothing has worked
I did hear a 'pop' from near the passenger footwell area this morning, but i did have a plastic bottle of pop there too so not sure if it was the car when this fault happened or the bottle of pop's plastic cracking.
Its a 2007 C5 Exclusive. Anybody got any ideas? Deep down i feel like its going to be a garage bill and not a cheap one.....

Mine was hot all the time takes 5 mins to remove the switch to see if it knackered.
