I have got a key out before with a small electrical screwdriver, which I ground down gently because you need tempered steel to get some leverage to shift the key a little to get pliers on it.

Super glue. Can you see the broken piece?

Long time ago succeeded with an Alfa with roughly similar cruciform key using two very pointy swiss files (you need to be very careful not to snap the point off the file). The files provided enough grip on opposite edges of the key to wiggle it out enough to grab the broken end with small snipe-nosed pliers.

Is the lock in the correct position for the key to come out? if not the key won't come out, When turned to the right position I have used a coping saw blade to pick the broken piece out.
