Hi all,
Just something to share here.
My C5 (Year 2007, MK1 Facelift) doesn’t have a MP3 player nor a CD changer.
I used those FM transmitted MP3 player previously. Sound quality is bad and subject to signal distortion.
I then bought this YATOUR digital music changer from ebay. It came with a cable that is plug and play to the rear of my default CD player.
The car automatically detects the music changer as though it is a factory fitted CD changer. I used a thumb drive that stores files into 6 directories:
\CD01
\CD02
\CD03
\CD04
\CD05
\CD06
This coincides with the number 1 to 6 buttons on my HU. So I can choose the song directory by pressing the buttons.
I can also control the volume and select songs (before and after each song) from the stick.
Regards,
