I dont know how to work it properly yet to find out exactly where and what I need....Jim did say It told you, maybe need to get him to help me through it


Where do I find them....and what do I clean, fix or replace ?

I cant even read my codes.. my generic OBD has a communication error with the C5, and I have no lexia..
Was supposed to be driving to belgium on Saturday but dont want to risk it really..

hi stu are these fresh codes ie did you wipe the codes from the memory then take the car for a run and read the codes again to make sure the codes are fresh and not left from some previous fault

That code description for the injection system Bosch EDC15C2 (what you have) is incorrect.


EDC15C2 - Diesel high pressure monitoring function. Pressure lower than the minimum pressure. (leak).

Fault is likely to be the pressure regulator on the output side of the common rail pump.

The P0180 is what the lexia brought up, I'll clear it and try it again later

This pressure regulator and the side of the pump, is it a certain colour of if not, should be easy to find/see.....just wondering too if it can be cleaned or has to be replaced.

Mind you, after talking to Jim, he's sure it'll be the egr because of the sluggishness too

if you google the codes there is a lot about the p1112 code it includes the fuel rail pressure readings so you can check that also a couple of other things to check aswell but i have not seen anything about the egr but i wouldnot say that jim is wrong as he does this for a living. im just trying to give you some help im no expert with these things and you can find most answers on the net. i think if i were you i would try the egr blank first it sounds like the easiest and cheapest place to start. hope this helps you out a a little.
