Touch-wood I rarely get the 'flu nowadays - my immune system is so screwed up it's always on red-alert and nothing stands a chance :roll:

Good idea :-D They always said gin and tonic was a good prophylactic against malaria. There was always a lot of debate whether it was the quinine in the tonic that did the trick or the alcohol that killed the malaria.

Best not to take a chance really so it was advised to drink neither gin nor tonic neat but just in case it was the gin that did the necessary it was always advisable to have a double...
