Replacing 2004 C5 windscreen washer jets

The washer jets are mounted in a black plastic strip that runs the width of the bonnet , its held in place by a clip at each end. My problem is when the two clips have been released the strip is still fimly attached to the bonnet by other hidden clips , do i prise it up with a screwdriver or does it slide onto clips , its very well attached my fear is i may end up snapping it, or is it easier to replace the washer jets in situ ?? Thank you.

I'm pretty sure I just replaced the jets on mine on the C5 without removing the strip. The Xantia I had before came without the strip so I had to find the lot.
