Piccy Part

Post by shane25 »

Hello People

I just done the clutch on my Xsara Picasso 1.8 and while putting it back together i managed to (carelessly =D> #-o ) put a crack in the speed sensor housing (pic below of the part), could some 1 please tell me a part number for it? I cannot find it anywhere online,

Or even better does some 1 have 1 kicking around they want a few beer tokens for [-o<

Cheers

Info from service.citroen.com:

Part Number Description Price excl. VAT Price incl. VAT
0000222816 EXTENSION 59.00 GBP 70.80 GBP

NOte there are different part numbers for different engines, so if you go second hand, you would need to make sure you get the right one! How on earth did you manage to crack it????

if you send me the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. i will get exact part No. for you car,

then you could google that to find one cheaper than the dealer,

or even just glue your old one back together

Thank you for the reply chaps, i've got it off and patched it up with some wencon cream, i'll find out tomorrow if its sealed.

If it doesnt seal i'll have to source a new part.

I cracked it by not lining up the plastic part inside and then trying to jack it on, its my own stupid fault
