from Thailand, nice to meet everybody here.
my xantia 95 (not a sinker) in normal position ,the height on the front is not equal between left and right, why? and how to correct it.
And when the engine is shut down,it's take a shot time to sink down(rear and front), although it's equip with anti sink valve (no leak)
The last one , when the engine is start , on the front is lift up to the top and in a few seconds it go down to the normal position,
i would like to know the reason and how to correct it. Any body help please.

Re: xantia height
I suspect two (nearly) flat spheres:
1. Accumulator sphere - the car doesn't stay up because there's not reserve of pressure to shut the front valve and keep it shut.
2. One of the front suspension (wheel) spheres - whichever side is lowest. You can test this with the engine running - push down hard on each front wing; the suspension should be fairly soft. If the sphere is 'flat' (lost its gas) then the suspension will be nearly solid with little or no movement except from the 'give' in the tyre side-walls.

To some extent it's normal - fix the sinking problem and it will be a lot less. What is happening is that the height controller responds to the height being far too low, the in-built lag (hysteresis) causes initial over-correction but then corrects back to the proper height.fox01 wrote:The last one , when the engine is start , on the front is lift up to the top and in a few seconds it go down to the normal position,

Re: xantia height
many thanks,Old-Guy
all of my spheres is good, i have just check it two week ago.
when the engine is running ,my suspension is soft
,and when the engine is stop also the same (before it's sink down)
Anti sink valve can be cause of this problem?
if yes, i have the old one and i would like to know how to check it (good or not )
before replace it.
Thank you for your response.
