I have a C5 2.0 HDI 55 plate. I had a depollution light come up and it was diagnosed as being a problem with the high pressure feul pump valve. This has been changed but the car is still playing up, every now and again you go to pull away and it won't rev. It then goes into safe mode. The only way to clear it it to switch the engine off and on again. The mechanic whose looked at it says that the only other possible thing it could be is the low pressure or return valve on the high pressure pump. Citroen don't sell the sensor separately. Does anybody know if there is an identification plate on the pump, as apparently I need this to try and order a valve. Also does anybody know where I cold get this valve from?
