got a consistant drip of engine oil, appears to be coming from where the engine meets the gearbox
pics dont really show much but i removed the lower gearbox/clutch cover plate or whatever its called, the appears to be no oil on the flywheel from what i can see, i can see some dirty oil on the inside of the gearbox.
is the crankshaft oil seal the most likely culprit? or is there a weak point somewhere on the BE3R geaerbox?
oil leak, where from?

Re: oil leak, where from?
I'd suspect rear main (crank seal) to be honest, not very pleasant well the work involved ie clutch off.
I was going to say are you sure its not the input shaft seal but that oil looks clean for transmission. I'd just be sure it is engine not trans oil before going any further.

Re: oil leak, where from?
well ive actually replaced both driveshaft seals within the last fortnight, oil appeared black.
im thinking i'll buy both a crank and input seal just to be safe (cant be that expensive), is there anything else it can be or is it defo 1 oth those 2?
