My turn for passenger temp problem C5 mk1 need help.

Post by waynedance »

Done a search and found a pic of the new part with longer spline. How easy are these motors to change is there a pic of where it is located?

Oh and the problem is getting nothing but hot air from passenger side.

I read there were two of these flaps under the dash so which one do I need?

Thank you in advance, looking to get fixed asap as I hate faults.

You need to remove the glovebox first to access the 3 motors that control the climate. The motors are at 11 o'clock, 4 o'clock and 7 o'clock, you want the most difficult to access one at 4 o'clock. Remove the motor and then set the climate to max heat, install the motor and then turn to cool air before you close everything up to makes sure it works correctly.
