Possible to retro-fit parking sensors on 111 C5?

Post by Napoleon »

I've had no experience of parking sensors on any vehicle. So I was a bit confused when I saw these little 'eyes' on the rear bumper, and just assumed they are the sensors.

I now know that they are not connected to anything - and there's no button in the cabin to show them active.

So, is it possible to have them fitted (not necessarily by Citroen) as after market? Obviously I don't want the dash too trashed by a man with a knife - I'd like any on/off button to look neat.

There are no 'eyes' on the front of the car - if fitted, would the sensors there operate in a forward gear?

Nap.. if that doesn't work, you may will need the sensors and the ECU (from a donor) and a lexia session..

I am toying with the idea but I have a towbar.. not sure if it's worth it for that reason..
