Boris - there are loads of different ones - post up the last 8 digits of your VIN and I'll see if service.citroen narrows it down!

You have very similar faults to mine and mine was faulty, Mine gave the airbag fault (that did show up on computer as squib faulty) also mine switched the lights on and off when it liked, rear wiper played up.

I'm just searching ebay using "c5 comms"

Nopes Still 90 to 100 quid for the ones I find.

I saw one with cruise control but it's part number was 624263 and when I asked the guy he said "Sorry the part number is different The part number you require is 6242G3"

looks very like mine. Wonder, would it work or do I have to match the part number? Just it seems like the "G" may denote the fact it has cruise control. Anyone know?

I got that but are you able to use other units. I ask as I see ones with cruise control and wonder if these would have another number.

Yeah price is scary. I gave my other c5 to a scrappy for 200 quid just before things got obvious.

the cruise stalk can be added to any of them as i have done with mine. if you cant get an answer to your question at the prices of the seller i gave you if thats the ones your looking at, i would just take a chance and order one what have you to lose you can allways sell it if it doesn.t work.

I note all these ebay guys come up with part numbers like this: 96477522XT not like the ones above. What are they looking at?

Asked seller re part above. He hasn't a clue. "comes from a c5, innit"
Anyway he says the long number i said in my last post above is the "manufacturer's part number".

Thing is it isn't the part number. Can anyone help?
