Your not kidding there, todays cars are just throw away items. Someone I was talking to today has been told his owned since new 2002 VW Polo is a write off due to it needing a new throttle body, which VW want over £500 for. Then there is the fitting labour and a few other bits and pieces it needs. There is a cheap Xantia on autotrader, its a HDi Exclusive. It seems to have met with a good few stationary objects but it might be a bargain.
