Went up north in it last weekend, set the cruise to 70mph and got 47mpg out of it. I CAN get more if I use my own foot instead of the cruise, but it's not enough to make much difference, and the absence of ankle aches and leg pains from driving long distance makes the £5 I'd save on a journey well worth it.

I wish I could be bothered to fit it to Rattiva as Paul is doing, but I'm not sure I have the skill or patience. I could not possibly repeat what speeds it would keep me from doing, but I had to drive down the M4 on Sunday morning at 6:30am, and it was *empty*. Rattiva still goes very, very well indeed...
Next to having AC, which is a must have in my opinion, cruise control is about the only other luxury I like on cars.

My Activa is like a speed demon, it brings out the worst in me as its such a good high speed cruiser

I understand what Chris is saying about varying speed, it annoys me to, that's why I normally drive in the nearside lane with the lorries on the motorway and would not deliberatly hold anyone up on any other road. I try to time my journeys to when the roads are quietest. A few years ago I would probably have been alone in the slow lane but its surprising how many people have joined me now, some drive even slower than me :o there are a lot of people out there driving at 60 mph, I think the cost of fuel has a lot to do with it.

The spec for Exclusives varies from year to year. My 2005 has front and rear carpet mats, electric seats - but not heated, illuminated footwells, protective strips along the sills, folding armrests, protective boot net, tyre pressure warning, parking sensors and electrochrome rear view mirror, acoustic side glass, 6 CD changer and xenon directional headlamps. Leather was an extra as was the lane departure thing.

That sounds like standard C5II Exclusive spec. Ive only seen the lane departure thing on a few C5s, it was never a popular option. Do Citroen still offer it on their current models?

C5I Exclusive trim levels seem to vary the most, Citroen are a bit confusing with their trim levels of late.

My 2.0 petrol 2001 SX has H3+ though I've had conversations with others saying that they've seen 2.0 petrols without it.

My trim is currently no parking sensors, no leather, no wooden surround (thank god), no alarm, no folding mirrors, no CD changer and no xenon.

S1 2.2 Hdi Exclusive SE Auto

Has HID's with washers, All electric Leather seats, Electrochrome Dimming rear view mirror, Reverse Sensors, Panoramic Sun Roof, Cruise Control, Heated Folding Wing Mirrors, Rain Sensors Auto Wipers, Auto Window close (Driver), Sat Nav, Climate Control H3+ suspension with sport mode and laminated glass all round, supposedly cuts down road noise.
Finally and not least a distinct liking for diesel which is why it's up for grabs :-)

All of the 2.0 petrols I have seen have had H3+. It is a bit of a shame they didnt fit it on the 2.0 diesels, I guess they thought the less complicated system might bring in more rep/company users. No doubt it kept the costs down on building the cars too.
