Hi

Can anyone tell me where the ODBII (Lexia) socket is on a 2009 C5 Exclusive?

I already have a Lexia and it has worked on my Xantia's and 2005 (face lift) C5 2.0HDI. I want to see if this will work on my 2009 C5, but cannot find the OBDII socket!

Worth getting for all cars? What priority should I apply to gauge if it's money well spent?

The more electronic controls are applied to your car the more valuable a Lexia is.
Fault finding in some circumstances would be practically impossible without one.
Jim and Paul have both been invaluable in digging me out of the crap before now (previous C5) along with countless others.

If you have a laptop running XP then your outlay would be in the region of £100.

I'm sure there will be others who actually own one who will attest to their usefulness.

Any chance it could run on a macbook? I do have a windows laptop as well, but can't even remember the OS on it, I use it so little.

No. XP only - or possibly an emulator like WINE but you still need XP.

Just looked at the laptop - it's vista. Xp seems a long time ago.

There is xp mode for vista. And with a search you can find out how to install it on all versions of vista

There used to be a whole virtual machine download, I thought for Vista Business. And there were ways you could get it to run on all other versions of Vista.
I will have a better look later, my mind has gone blank.

I run mine on a Mac using Parallels but you do need an xp disc and license to install and run XP.
