No Radio update.

Post by Alec B »

Just to recap, after turning radio on whilst in car getting ready for holiday it turned off and has refused to turn back on. My local garage has managed to get radio going via his Lexia but it still refuses to fire up on it's own. Any ideas before it starts getting expensive to fix?!

Is this the original radio or an aftermarket one?

It's not something as simple as the on/off knob being broken up inside is it?
I recently had this on my 05 C5. New knob from a pug dealer for a quid solved the problem.
You can tease off the existing knob to expose the brass spindle.

Blimey I hope not. It's cost a fair few bob to fix along with a fault on the de-pollutant system. I hope this is the end of a bad run, if not it's going to be an expensive and time consuming C5 ownership. I want the Xantia back aaaaarrrrrgghhh.
