Door Card removal

Post by hdi_man »

my drivers window regulator broke so I popped off the doorcard to have a look. turns out it was the steel cable that has corroded and snapped.

anyway, problem is there was some foam padding that I had to burst and remove to get into the regulator. Anyone know where I can get a replacement for this ???

I'm not sure where to buy the padding, seems like the sort of thing that should be easily available though...hopefully!

I use double sided sticky tape to put the padding back onto the door.
