2009 Renault Megane, the misses drive.
Had a 1988 BX 19TRS Auto many moons ago.
Forgive any spelling mistakes, it's the phone not me.

I think that the guy fitting mine is using those so will let you know when he does it. Was supposed to have been the weekend gone but he had to go to Ireland and isn't back yet.

I am changing them because they are corroded where the pin that holds the pads in, the hole is no longer a hole.

Please do let me know for future referance, I have been to my local scrappy this morning and there was a C5 in there with 2 very recently replaced genuine calipers £42.00 for the pair, the bolts where new and not loctighted in so very easy to remove, not usually this lucky.

Citronut it was an estate and ECP have different part numbers for the estate and saloon but the ones listed on Ebay say for all models so I rang them and although a little snotty he said " they are both the same I can assure you, look at how many I have sold", do you know what the difference is?

Just had a look on ECP and they list PN133545331 as being suitable for both Saloon and Estate.

Just been to see the mechanic (took daughter's Clio to him) and he is going to fit new discs and callipers on Sunday.
However, he hasn't ordered them yet so I can't say anything about the quality of them.

I am changing them because they are corroded where the pin that holds the pads in, the hole is no longer a hole.
Ive had to replace a rear caliper for that reason, a pretty poor design, the metal seems too thin on some calipers but others appear better.

Both calipers had this problem on my SX now replaced and one on my Exclusive which I replaced, had various Xantia models with no problems other than the more usual corrosion.

Mine were done today, with new discs, just had the car delivered with a nice new MOT certificate. I did however forget to ask which callipers have been used.
Going back next weekend for some other niggles to be seen to and try and get it moving a bit more enthusiastically.
