Dad is saying goodbye to the C4 Picasso and getting a Kia Venga automatic.
Smaller and easier to drive for mum. C3 Picasso ruled out because the automatic EGS model is too new and too expensive!
I was surprised by the Kia and it's not bad at all.
Don't worry, I'm not planning on ditching the C5!

Is the Kia a brand new motor Ben?
They are getting better and their warranty package is a good reason to get one, if your parents are people who hold onto their car for longer than 3 years.
Ive not driven any of the current Kia range, the newest one I have driven is a Cerato, which was a bit of a flop really. Still, it drove ok, had a good amount of space and good kit for very little money. Thankfully it was a loan car and I could give it back, as it was a little bland.

I'd have liked that off you when you do sell though im very happy with my 138. My sister though, she is getting tired of her SX and it could do with replacing - she says!bencowell wrote: Don't worry, I'm not planning on ditching the C5!

The 2.2 173 C5 only has 80k on the clock so it's basically new. As I've no idea what I would buy next, I will wait until something becomes expensive.

Re: Going to be a one Citroën family
My dad estate is approaching 90K, it sounds like it might have the start of the DMF rattle. Otherwise its going fine and drives very well, its only ever needed a pair of droplinks and and a has just had its fourth pair of tyres fitted in our ownership. It really needs new front discs and pads, which will happen this week and also the cambelt will be done soon.
Mine has done 36K and is pretty much new too!
