how would you do it?

Post by john »

so my berlingo has an exhaust leak between join on the manifold and cat, ive tried to tighten it but its a bugger laying on your back so im going to get a garage to do it, its also due its mot so was going to get them to do that too, so should i:

get the garage to fix it and them put it though its mot (possibly failing on other stuff)

or

put it in for its mot knowing it will fail on that at least and then get a quote (for the leak and any other faults)

I think your choice could be dependant on if your garage charges a re test fee ? If so do the exhaust first, if its free and you have time mot first in case something nasty happens, Goodluck.
