Post by StevieOMG »

Hi. I have vibration at all speeds. Have changed front pads and discs. New tyres and balanced but vibration still there. This weeked will change track rod ends. Anything else worth changing to rid the vibration

Run your hand around the inside of the tyre feeling for bulges, nails etc. Go slowly to avoid ripping a chunk out of your hand if you do find a nail sticking out. Also worth checking track rod ends for wear, that will cause wheel vibration as well.

Probably 95% of vibration problems are tyre related, try swapping you front and rear tyres over, as saab95 says you could have ply seperation causing a bulge in the tyre, this often doesn't show up when the wheels are balanced. Another thing you can do is jack the wheel up just clear of the ground and rotate it to check that the clearance is the same all round.
