Hi guys, been absent from the forum due to C5 not giving much trouble since the last hydraulic pipe split until yesterday .
While driving yesterday the yellow engine management light came on and stayed on for the entire drive, i also had it stay with me the following day and then dissapear for a couple of hours before returning.
What could the most likely possible causes be?
I'm worried that it may be the FAP (DPF) but i was under the impression that since its a 2003 MK1 2.0 HDi it doesn't have these, or am i wrong?
Could it be the MAF?
Or any other ideas at all?
May or may not be related, but i have also noticed for the past 3-4 months that the car has also been lower on power, but since no lights were coming on, i did't investigate further.
Ideas and Suggestions always welcomed.

Re: C5 2.0 HDI Engine Management Light
No DPF on a 2003 2.0 HDi, as for what is the cause of the EMl coming on and/or poor running is going to be stabbing in the dark without getting the car plugged into a Lexia, take a look on the Lexia locations thread to find one nearby.
