Xantia MOT pass

Post by mirafioriman »

:) :) :) :)

My old L reg Xantia 1.9 d went for its MOT this morning and got a first time pass.

It will need the driver's side rear arm bearings done at some time (which I knew about) but other than that no worries.

It has had a new exhaust back box, drop link, track rod, track rod end, steering rack gaitor, accumulator sphere and front discs and pads in the last 12 months but still that lot cost me less than buying a new car so all is good.
Former Proud owner of a 1994 Citroen Xantia 1.9d and BX 19RD

Now driving an Alfa 159 but god I miss the Xantia!

Excellent news :)

It's always nice when the ticket is in your hands for another year!

That's what I like about France; controle technique (aka MOT) only every two years - and no road tax. Two good reasons for re-registering my car over here while I renovate the shack... 8-)
