Blimey that's some miles for a1.6, I have a C3 withthatbengine hat has done 270K miles, and is still good, and on its original turbo.
If it has reached this mileage it might be fine, you need to check type of use, Ie long journeys (these are best), how often oil changes were done, how many turbos it's had, that's a good test of how it's been looked after.
The car will have a dpf, the clutch and dual mass flywheel maybe suspect.
The car does have hydraulic suspension, but it is powered by an electic pump, and nothing like cars you will have had before.
The suspension by rights is quite reliable.
If the car has dual zone climate, make sure you can adjust the temp on each side individually, as the flaps inside the heater box break quite regularly.
