theres tooooo much on a 2.2 to swap over anyway and you would also have to plumb in the eyloys fluid tank..

as for fuel lift pump.. convert a petrol xm and the lift pump is already plumbd in for you...

anyway.. im gonna stop now. looks like someone might "steal" my project...
Xantia BSI true, Eolys no you don't need that nobody in their right mind would fit the FAP anyway.:-)
Fuel lift pump Petrol car good thinking.
I can't see that there is much more to swap over on a 2.2 to a 2.0, the only reason you would need the BSI on any ex C5 engine is because of the security code issues, of course a real electronics genius may be able to circumvent that in the the software..
Xantia don't know how they handle security on the Xant so can't really comment.
Still feel that if one is to do such a conversion then it would be worth using the best engine which has to be the 2.2 173 imho.

Two litre is much simpler as for security.. theres only the key transponder issue to pass and you can get these removed now for a fee which leaves the ecu car "open" and thats its.. my experiance of the 2 litre 8v is it rarely goes wrong and if they do theres not many things to stop them working..

my own hdi xantia has now run to 214k and not needed a thing except oil changes etc..

the 2.2 uses tooo much fuel. if i want to use a lot of fuel id buy a petrol. but with 400 mile a week avereage i do i have to choose economy. and the 2.0 8v is the one for me..
