Radio working again but cannot explain it

The Radio did work but now it will not tune into anything on FM, update, the raadio is now working again, I had to press the on off button really hard?

is this normal?

update, the radio was u/s (apparently a common fault and a crap radio according to the audio guy who fitted and coded my new radio/cd player.cost £45 Sunderland.
