Xsara heater motor
Daughter's Xsara has a heater blower which runs at only one speed. Full blast and roaring. It seems that it needs a new motor. How easy to do? Any useful tips?

Re: Xsara heater motor
Probably the control module has failed, or more precisely the transistor(s). There is a thread on here about replacing them.

Re: Xsara heater motor
OK - I've taken the motor out, changed the transistor pack and now it doesn't work at all. But with the motor removed and 12volts put directly to the terminals, it does. Where am I going wrong?rory_perrett wrote:Probably the control module has failed, or more precisely the transistor(s).
