No, it covers quite a range. Last time I looked it still listed the XM...

Try NOT putting in a VIN. I never do and it always seems OK for me...

You do need to know your RP number though, so that if any part you're looking at has been changed throughout the life of the car you can see which is applicable to yours...

The build date in coded form. It is a four or five digit number with two letters after it that tells the day the car was built and the factory it was built in.

I have no idea where it is on a Berlingo but generally it's found in the drivers door next to the sticker with the tyre pressure information on it along with the paint code.

A typical RP number might be 08932CJ (CJ being the factory code)

The paint code will be a collection of letters like say, KPKCR

This is a picture of the RP and Paint Code on a MK1 Xantia. Although later vehicles have these codes on a sticker in the doorshut, the format is the same...

the only cars it seems come up with "Unknown vehicle" are usually older models for instance some BX VIN No.'s have done this on me recently,

try just entering the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. as that is what i do and this is also what the dealer asks for on a parts enquirey,

or you could semd me the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. and i will run it by service citroen to check what is happening or not as the case may be,

also i think you PR No. will be on the tyre pressure label in the door shut,

Links containing the word "Citroen" don't work on here because the forum automatically adds the dots over the e.

I had similar problems with mine and it turned out that "VIN/VIS" was tacked onto the end of my number because it hadn't cleared when I entered the VIN.

It's not a quirk. It's done by the forum word censor. It's main purpose is to transpose naughty words into something nicer but it can also act in the way you see, to put the diaeresis over the e in Citroen and also to correct various misspellings of both Citroen and Xantia!!!
