Hi All,
The on / off / volume knob on the standard radio has begun to stick. Having failed to get the fascia off I managed to pull the knob out of its hole. Without the knob the switch seems fine. The tube inside the knob has a couple of splits in it and it looks like this is the cause of the sticking.
Questions:
Am I likely to be able to get a replacement knob from Citroen?
or from a radio specialist?
The knob seems to be flared at the end which goes into the radio - is this normal?
If I can get a new knob, will I be able to simply press it in as I pulled it out or will I have to get the unit out of the fascia to do this?
Finally what tool will I need to remove the radio? The BOL says a torx screwdriver but not what size. My smallest one, bought for mobile phone repair, doesn't fit.

A modified button is available from Citroen part number 6564 P3. It's just a push on job, no need to remove the radio.
Re: C5 II Radio issues
Thanks for the replies. My nearest Peugeot dealer has the part in stock for around £1.00. The part number has changed to 6564QS. Let's hope it fits.
