Antipollution fault since taking pipe off C5 2.2

Antipollution fault since taking pipe off C5 2.2

Ok as in the below post took my top hose of the inlet manifold from intercooler and put my hand over the the pipe and put the engine at 2000rpm and could not hold my hand there.

Used a little brake cleaner in the pipe to clean it, now got antipollution fault.................... tried to reset by disconnecting the battery. Will a diagnostic reset the engine light?

Don't worry about it you have the anti pollution fault because of running with the pipe off the ECU can't resolve inconsistency between engine revs / pressure and Mass flow it should clear after four engine start run cycles i.e start run for ten minute stop. If not clear after that then start to get concerned. You don't appear to have a big leak on the intercooler then :-). The brake cleaner should have been used to clean the fins of the intercooler not the internals :-)

Did a run at 70mph for 10 mins and still on, left car for a while and now gone out.

Had me worried for a while, there was a little oil in the top hose but not allot. There was no way I could hold my hand over the pipe at 2000 revs so all good there, will stop messing now.
