C5 depollution fault 2005 HDI

Post by Jaspwieser »

It's been now over 8 months without any problems. This was until this week when the Hdi decided to show a depollution fault . Checking the forum on past posts it seems to be a variety of problems, can I narrow it down to just one thing. The engine runs ok and when I took it to the Indy garage earlier in the week he replaced the brake switch as they thought this could be causing it. When driving home it was ok but the next morning the fault appeared again. Any thoughts would be welcome before sending it back to the garage.

Could be one of 20 things, you need a decent diagnostic check, otherwise guesswork is expensive

Yes, it could be many number of things, your best to get it to a Lexia for diagnosis.

What size HDi is it?
