NEVER use the W stuff in door locks or any lock if it comes to that, HORIBL STUFF,

either use crushed pencil lead or some silicon spray, or both together, or purchase some proper lock lube,

the serrations Old Guy mentioned are the zig zag cut's of the key its self,

are the keys you have original citroen or re/cuts,

can you get keys cut from the VIN?

im going to remove 1 of the barrels later for a closer look, if i cant see anything obvious im going to have to get a new set of locks as i obviously have to leave 1 door unlocked to gain entry :(

you can get new genuine replacement key from the dealer, but if you aint sure your car has the original barrels it left the factory with you could be wasting your time and money,

as they will supply the same key but it left the factory with,

The recent Citroen ignition switches and most replacements are marked Valeo.
That key blade looks well worn to me so not worth cutting new keys from.
It is possible to calculate the key code from the photo but probably not worth the effort.
It may be photo shake but it looks to me as though someone has tried to force the ignition lock with a screwdriver blade.
The diecast body of that door lock seems to have a ragged hole and tear mark suggesting the same was tried on that lock.
If so any attempts to repair or rekey are most unlikely to work.

Hi John

Now if it was an XM there would be no problem as I rekey them to make up sets.
I do collect some other lock odds and ends so will look through the boxes to see what is there.

Have found a new door lock and two matching new transponder keys that looks identical.
Would need to see the end of the operating lever of the door lock to be sure.
I can confirm that the locks have been forced as there is no body damage or ragged hole on this one.
It seems that many of the simpler Citroen locks do not have anti-theft rotation built in.
I suspect that because your locks have been forced that any Citroen cruciform key will rotate them.

Ebay UK: Type 160804173833 into the search box.

Within £15 or so, of the best price you'll find for all that crap. Jump on it, is my advice.
