Finally let myself buy a Lexia

Post by Jabo »

Finally bought one for £80 off eBay. Don't tell the Mrs how much it was!
Lexia 3, 30 pin adaptor and S1279. Got it on a "Best Offer" down from £85. Miserable seller wouldn't drop any lower :-P

Can't wait for it to come now so I can check out my suspension.

6 - 12 working days?

I could walk to Nelson and collect it in that time.

Are you sure he didn't post from China?

Also, any chance of you opening up the main module and sending me a PM with photo of main board? I ask because there is a guy on Ebay who reckons some of the cheaper ones do not have the same componentry and I would like to check that allegation out.

Stuff I buy from China, Japan, Taiwan etc all arrive within four days.

Stuff from Guernsey takes a fortnight :?

Morning Steve,

Have you ever bought a Lexia direct from Taiwan, China, Japan or HK?

Sometimes I order things from mainland China or Hong Kong and they'll come within a week, then sometimes they'll take nearly a month. Just your luck it seems.

Oo! Can I borrow it then?

I contacted the seller for a bit of clarity as he states Collection in person - free but he has yet to reply. 2 days.

Did he take long to communicate with you if at all?

If you had a problem with it, does he expect you to post it back to him in UK or China at your own expense? This is one of the pitfalls with dealing with some Ebay companies.

Nope, he always replies pretty quickly. Even at 2am the other night.
