A quickie where is it thanks. Cleaned MAF sensor but still a bit hesitant so hoping to borrow diagnostic kit.

In the back of the passenger side dash glove box.
Nearest item to the door.
I only know because it took me ages to find it on a friends newly purchased C5.

As John says, its in the glovebox. There is a small cubby like card holder thing on the left hand side when you open it. Pull that away at the top and behind there you will find the socket.

For a few days but I have now bought a litre of Eolys and red dwarfers has kindly fixed my Lexia so I shall be able to reset it again once I get it back.

Hi Peter

Surprised that it took that long to reappear as a fault when all we did was reset with a Lexia.
I expected it to be back in less than a mile.

I didn't go far in it for a couple of days but I don't remember it coming back the first time I went out.

Had a look today and only code is for a glow plug, reset fault and it came back on as soon as engine was started. Not causing starting problems so won't worry for now. May try known good MAF sensor to see if problem goes.
