Best mod to car ever!!

Post by waynedance »

Ha nothing exciting here..........

On long trips out I find my left leg gets tired and needs to stretch but can not due to the foot rest. I have removed the pad from behind the carpet and can now stretch my leg oh joy!!

Thought I would share that.

The pleasure I get on long drives in my v6 (auto), is being able to take my left shoe and sock off and put my foot on the dash with it on de-frost!

With cruise control, you should be able to put both feet on the dash

No cruise, so , If its not raining I put my right foot out the window. I couldn't do that in the c5 because the slightest hint of rain, the window would wind itself up! got a bit embarrassing at traffic lights!.

The best mod to my Xantia was 2 strips of metal below the seat runners enabling the seat to run farther back.
On my long runs to Scotland from Bournemouth (640 miles) at least 4 times a year my long legs would sieze up due to them being stuck either side of the steering wheel.
The mod enabled me to move them around during the drive and generally make driving more comfortable.
