THE finest and most beautiful looking car on the planet :P Nothing comes close.. Such a shame it was not what it was initially supposed to be - the Citroen Activa

What else did Pininfarina do?

Pug 205 - The finest looking small hatch ever :-D

Pugs 405, 605. Still looking good nearly thirty years on...

Austins A40 Farina, A60/A110 Farina family (Austin Cambridge/Morris Oxford and so on). BMC 11oo family. They still look very good and easy on the eye...

That I'm sure is just a small bit of everyday tin they developed. There must be loads more...

Well up there with Bertone, who of course did the Xantia. 'Nuff said  Rumour has it that BMC/BL/Austin were offered the BX design and rejected it.

A case of 'choose foot, take aim and fire...'

And never forget Michelotti who did some very good-looking Triumphs, Herald/Vitesse, 2000, TR5 and 6 I believe. Still stunning lookers :-D

You might say they were a bit of a triumph for Michelotti....

I'll get my coat....

He left Bertone in 1980 and the BX was not launched until 1983. This means he must have designed it sometime in the 1970's. It was well ahead of its time, design-wise, when it was launched and it is easy to see the similarities with the Countach - mainly the angularity of the bodywork
Thats because the bx was designed for volvo in the late 70's and was bought off the shelf by citroen from volvo to save money.

Talbot Express Autotrail Chinook 89
Mitsubishi L200 Trojan 14
Xantia Activa 95, sold (missed)

Service Citroen is awesome, it shows me pictures of all the parts i used to be able to buy............

Oh Mark I'm so sorry  I really didn't mean to upset with the comments I made. Yours in yellow on that day took my breath away. I was smitten and to be honest I still very much am with a DS3. I'd love one to bits but alas it'll never be  Not so long as I have kids at uni anyway...

But for the DRLs, which I detest on any car so fitted, the DS3 looks absolutely gorgeous but I must say I think the grill could have been done a bit better. Apart from that it's the best looker out there by a country mile.

I was being picky in the extreme and looking for faults. I do hope you'll forgive me [-o<
