Intermittent unlocking fault C5 mk1!!

Post by waynedance »

Sometimes when unlocking my car via remote the drivers door stays locked, if I lock and unlock via remote the door will unlock. Sometimes have to lock/unlock a few times.

Is this a common problem? What is the cure?

Thank you.

It's common on other models certinaly - Xsara Picasso for instance. Cure is to fit a new lock in the door - had to do ours a while back.

This is something you want to sort out sooner rather than later whilst you can still get the door open. It's a pig of a job when you cant get the door open.
