S 2 C5 2.0 HDI INFO NEEDED PLEASE

Post by Xantic »

Anyone know if the S2 C5 has the fap filter, dual mass flywheel or any thing else that i should stay away from..

I am having terrible trouble finding the right car, Even tried other makes but i wont go in to that..
Need preferably leather or exclusive model as long as it has heigth adjustable drivers seat.

Found a S2 2.0 hdi but just out of my price range at this moment but need the info to either right them off or consider them.
I know i have asked about the S2 before and i think the 1.6 does not have the fap but does have a dual mass flywheel.
As many have said before on here stick with the S1 2.0 hdi but finding an exclusive with adjustable passengers seat is harder then i thought.

I have spent a fortune running around looking at cars, met some cowboys but no indians yet
I am getting cheesed off now, my life seems to be centered around looking on internet and garages for cars. Tell me there's more to life.

I am booked in for a nervous breakdown next week..

All S2 diesels have FAP and DMF, the only exception is one particular trim level of 1.6 Design as I recall which doesn't have FAP (sure someone will correct me if wrong :-)

acording to service citroen show one 2.0 138 and also a second 2.0 138 with FAP,
also a 2.2 138 without a FAP and a 2.2 175 with a FAP,

so if you can get hold of the last 8 digits of any car you wish to look at i will check on service citroen if it has a FAPP or not,

now DMF

2.0 138 with BVA gear box is without DMF
and 2.0 138 with BVM box is with DMF

as above for the 2.2 138 also,

You seem very determined to replace the Xantia, but have not yet accepted that nothing else in your market price range might suit. Sure it's not worth hanging on to the old bus for a while yet?

It's time to upgrade while i have some cash, otherwise it will be wasted and then be buying a pushbike.. :)

Of course if i can find a better paying job then i could afford more but we wont go in to that.

We need the feel good factor for the nice weather, not a lot to ask in this gloomy period of what once was Great Britian, drop the great from here on in.

Nah, '65-66 Mustang coupé. Everything can be bought new off the 'net and is simple to fit. Specialists have decades of experience welding up rust repairs with purpose-made sections.

And with due care, it will resell for 98% of what you paid for it - that's like paying SFA to rent a classic car for 12 months.
