sorry to post here but this is partial Citroen partial peugeot.
I have been offered a bx 1.9td engine to go into my 306 1.9d.
Anybody here know if this will go straight in, mine has PAS not sure if bx had as its been crushed!! bx was 93 and mines 95. dont think either of these had ECUs
a quick reply would be appreciated.

We didn't get a BX 1.9TD for this market, I beliece they were all 1.7TD. Its a normal diesel turbo with mechanical injection pump and no ECU.
To make an easy transplant for your 306D look for an engine from a ZX 1.9TD or 306 1.9TD made prior to them having the keypad immobilisor because otherwise you'll have to make mods to the diesel pump.Its not easy to remove the immobilisor from it.
